When we put photo on grave first time any family has managed to see the grave ,and we hope to come back early next year,,,

Fate: Returning from the bombing mission the Halifax was perhaps noticed by the German radar post "TIGER" at Terschelling and send an nightfighter from the 4./NJG.1, flown by Luftwaffe Ace OFW HEINZ VINKE and Uffz. FW Karl Schodl. The Halifax was intercepted and shot down and crashed at 23:22Lt East of Terschelling near Formerum into the Waddensea .
