Fate: After a Mid-Air Collision during a training exercise with another P-51 Mustang flow by Flt.Lt. M.F. Befinger, both crashed into the northsea 45 Miles east Bradwell Bay, UK
Both pilots could bailout but drowned before rescue. The body of Fl.Lt Befinger was recovered from the sea, the body of Fl.Lt Kubica was not found during the rescue mission but washed ashore at Dutch coast near Makkum.
